Tom Ashton is a published author and tenacious Roanoke lawyer who puts his clients' interests first. He has won several jury and many bench trials in Virginia, and has also been victorious at the appellate level in both state and federal courts.
Tom has represented many different types of clients, from large multi-billion dollar businesses to pro bono individuals. He also has extensive experience in many different areas of the law, including: family law (divorce, support, custody and protective orders), wills and estates, general civil litigation, traffic law and misdemeanor criminal defense, business formation and corporate governance, appellate practice, debt collection, plaintiff's personal injury, federal procurement law, bankruptcy, construction litigation, civil rights and constitutional law cases, and alternative dispute resolution.
This broad experience and track record of successful representation allows him to bring a different perspective to bear in his practice, considering the "whole client" and not reducing the client to a specific issue or set of issues.
